Proximity AI, Inc (the "Company") is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users. This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect, use and safeguard the information you provide and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Service.
"Site" refers to the Company's website at uniquesignals.ai or our application app.uniquesignals.ai. "Unique Signals" refers to the service provided by Proximity AI, Inc. "Service" refers to the Company's services accessed via the Site, in which users can use artificial intelligence to analyze location signals and extract business intelligence.
By accessing our Site or Service, you accept our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and you consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.
I. Information we collect
We collect Non-Personal Information and Personal Information. Non-Personal Information includes anonymous usage data, demographics, referring URLs, platform types, preferences, and click counts. Personal Information includes your name, email address, and company information, chat discussions and interactions.
1. Information collected via technology
To activate the Service you do not need to submit any Personal Information other than your email address. To improve quality, we track browser and device information using cookies or similar technologies:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time spent
- Device information
- Geolocation data (with your permission)
2. Information you provide by registering
To become a subscriber you create a profile by entering your email address. By registering you authorize us to collect, store and use your email address in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
3. Children's privacy
Our service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have gathered such information, we will delete it.
IIa. How we use and share information
Except as otherwise stated, we do not sell, trade, rent or share your Personal Information for marketing purposes without your consent. We share Personal Information with vendors performing services for the Company, only at our direction and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our services
- Improve and personalize user experience
- Process your transactions
- Send administrative information and updates
- Respond to your inquiries and provide support
- Detect and prevent fraud and security threats
- Comply with legal obligations
- Analyze usage patterns and optimize our service
Data processing and AI
Our service uses artificial intelligence to analyze location signals and extract business intelligence. AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies. Proximity AI cannot be held accountable for decisions made based on AI-generated information. AI systems can make mistakes and should not be the sole basis for business decisions.
IIb. Data Submission & License Agreement
Definitions
- "Company Information" — any data voluntarily submitted to the platform, including entity name, addresses, contact details, entity details, company registration numbers, VAT identifiers, supply-chain and customer relationships data.
- "Personal Data" — any Company Information relating to an identifiable natural person (named contacts, representatives). Pure entity-level data (company name, registered address) is not Personal Data.
- "Derived Data" — any insight, score, graph relationship, or intelligence product Proximity AI, Inc generates from or in connection with Company Information.
- "Platform Graph" — Proximity AI, Inc proprietary ontology system, comprising entities, relationships, and location-based signals.
- "Network Benefits" — enriched data and ontology features granted to Data Contributors under the Reciprocity Model.
Part I - License Grant
By submitting Company Information to the Platform, Customer grants Proximity AI, Inc a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to: (a) store, process, index, and enrich Company Information; (b) combine it with data from other contributors and third-party sources; (c) generate, maintain, and commercialize Derived Data and Platform Ontology outputs; (d) share Derived Data outputs with authorized Platform recipients; and (e) retain anonymized or aggregated derivatives indefinitely after termination.
Raw data restriction: Proximity AI, Inc will not sell Customer's raw Company Information as a standalone database to any third party. This does not restrict Derived Data, Platform Ontology outputs, legally compelled disclosures, or disclosures to confidentiality-bound subprocessors.
Accuracy warranty: Customer warrants it is authorized to submit the data, the data is accurate, submission does not infringe third-party IP, and any Personal Data of third parties included has a lawful processing basis.
Proximity IP: Proximity AI, Inc retains all IP rights in the Platform Ontology, Derived Data, algorithms, and scoring models. Customer acquires no ownership, except as provided in the Reciprocity Model.
Part II - Data Reciprocity Model
When contributing to Proximity AI, Inc Platform Ontology with customer’s Company Information Customer gets limited number of credits allowing them to perform supplier/customer searches on the Proximity AI, Inc app.uniquesignals.ai platform. (EU GDPR basis for Reciprocity Model processing: Article 6(1)(f) Legitimate Interest — building a commercially reliable B2B intelligence ontology for mutual benefit of participants. Data subjects retain the right to object.)
Part III - Customer Data Rights
- Access: machine-readable export within 30 days of verified request
- Correction: available via platform interface; corrections to raw data do not retroactively affect already-shared Derived Data
- Deletion: raw Company Information deleted within 30 days of sending the request to the email: privacy@useproximity.ai; anonymized Derived Data and graph records corroborated by a second source are retained. Data is deleted also after 3 years of inactivity on the portal.
- Termination effect: Requests Benefits cease immediately; raw data deleted within 90 days; license over anonymized Derived Data survives
III. How we protect information
We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, including encryption in transit and at rest, regular audits, access controls, and secure storage infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
IV. Your rights
Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict processing of, and opt out of marketing communications about your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@useproximity.ai.
V. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service. You can instruct your browser to refuse cookies or indicate when one is being sent.
VI. Data retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
VII. International data transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
VIII. Changes
The Company reserves the right to change this policy at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by placing a prominent notice on the Site. Significant changes take effect 30 days after notification.
